¡Hola Amigos! Welcome to Bad Ash Mexican, where everything is vibrant, bold, and full of life—just like the spirit of Mexico. With a passion for delicious food, amazing people, and the colourful culture that defines Mexican cuisine, Ashton Hamer is proud to bring Bad Ash Mexican to The Yard Eatery.

The idea for Bad Ash Mexican came to Ashton after a trip to Key West, where she had the best nachos from a small street vendor. That experience sparked her dream of owning a food truck. Ashton and her dad used to joke and dream about having their own, and when her dad suddenly passed away, Ashton knew it was time to make that dream a reality. That's when Bad Ash Mexican "Día de los Muertos" was born, a tribute to her father and her deep love for everything Mexican.

BALKAN BURGER

Balkan Burger has built a reputation for serving up authentic Balkan-style burgers at some of Johannesburg's best markets—and now, you can experience it for yourself at The Yard Eatery.

Known for their fold-over patty, wrapped in traditional somun bread, Balkan Burger takes a different approach to the classic burger.
